In this tutorial, we will cover how to add multimedia content to your website.

1. Start by clicking the add button from the menu on the left. It is the third one down and it should look like a cross inscribed within a circle.

2. You will see a menu with all the different types of content you can add on the left.

   1. Text allows you to add text boxes of various styles to your website. Drag and drop them to the correct location. You can then customize things such as font style, font size, bold, italic, underline, highlight, colour, alignment, lists, indents, effects, and character and line spacing by clicking edit text.

   2. Image allows you to add an image either from Wix's free images or your own. To upload your own, click image uploads and then upload media in the top left.

   3. Galleries allow you to display many different media items. Select a format and drag it to the correct location, then click manage media to change the images and videos to display. You can also change settings such as the width on the page by clicking settings.

   4. Vector art is free Wix art which looks good at any size. Drag and drop the image to the correct location.

   5. Shapes allow you to add geometric elements to the website. You can then customize the colour and border of the shapes.

   6. Interactive allows you to add interactive elements to your website. These include slideshows and hover boxes. Hover boxes change appearance when the user hovers their mouse over them.

   7. Buttons allow you to create an area on the screen which links to another page. You can also change the design and style of the buttons.

   8. Boxes allow you to add aesthetic elements to the page. You can customize the design of these boxes.

   9. Strips add a full-width band across your screen which can significantly improve the aesthetic design of a website. Strips can contain elements within them, such as text and multimedia.

   10. Lists and grids allow you to display several pieces of information with similar formatting.

   11. Video allows you to add video by uploading it directly or embedding media from social sites such as YouTube.

   12. Music allows you to add audio content to your website. You can also set up playlists by adding a Wix music player, and then clicking manage music.

   13. Social allows you to add icons that allow users to interact with social media sites, such as sharing your site.

   14. Contact allows you to add a contact form for users to get in touch with you.

   15. Menus allow visitors to navigate your website. All templates have at least one menu but you can add more if you wish to do so. More information on menus and pages can be found here.

   16. Lightboxes allow you to set up a screen which appears when a user first visits a page. This is similar to screens which ask you to subscribe or enter your email address on other sites.

   17. There are several other options, but these are well outside the scope of what UNIS student would ever need to do, except for under the more tab, where you can embed a HTML iFrame with code from another site.
